Whole Sonora Crystal Geodes

This page contains a selection of whole (rough, un-opened) guaranteed hollow Sonora, Mexico Crystal Geodes.  These geodes are from a relatively new find made in 2017 in the mountains of Sonora province, Mexico, and contain mostly clear quartz linings.  Similar to the Trancas geodes in Chihuahua, Mexico, some of the Sonora Crystal geodes contain very fine, clear secondary quartz crystals which often occur in one part of the geode.  These geodes range in size from about an inch up to 6-7 inches across with the most common size being between 2-4 inches.  We guarantee all of our Sonora Crystal Geodes to be at least 90% hollow by volume, meaning 9 out of 10 geodes will contain an open cavity lined with crystals.  For already opened Sonora Crystal Geodes, please visit our Opened Sonora Crystal Geodes page.
