Large cabinet sized marl matrix specimen that is host to two pyrite cubes (the largest is 1.90 inches and the smaller 1.40 inches on edge, respectively). The cubes are very lustrous, shiny, and rather typical in that they are slightly distorted in shape (not truly perfect cubes) for this layer in the quarry. These pyrite cubes are all natural - nothing has been done to them other than to clean some matrix and dust off of their surfaces.
