#BG-402 - Sphalerite and Quartz

Mogila orebody, Deveti Septevri (9th of September) Mine, Madan Deposit, southern Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria

3 x 2 x 1.5 cm (1.2 x 0.8 x 0.6 inches) - $10.00

Good large thumbnail from this location.  The sphalerite has the slight greenish tinge which locally is referred to as "celophane", this can be seen in the left photos.  The quartz adds a nice touch.  A couple very small rubs are found on the back of a couple sphalerites but nothing significant.  The epoxy/glue is easily removable - it was left on here to show how the specimen would look for display.
